Dancing In My Red Dress

As I mentioned last week, I spent Saturday celebrating my girl Lizzibeth’s 1st Birthday. Let me just say, the whole thing was a total blast. Lizzi threw one heck of a party.

I spent most of the day hanging out with 10 amazing bloggers. Getting ready for the party, laughing, indulging in libation, swapping stories and of course, talking all things blogging. It was sort of like spending the afternoon with your best girlfriends, except I had just met all but 3 of them. It’s funny how blogging and the internet can bring people together. I just love it.

While at first, I felt a little out of my element amongst these gifted style bloggers. They were quick to embrace my little lifestyle blog and me. It was such a treat getting to know this group of talented and inspiring women.

I thought I would share a few fun photos from that night. Most of these are kind of silly because, let’s be honest, part-time runway model is not on my resume. But, it was really fun getting to play dress-up in Lizzi’s beautiful clothes and baubles.

^^^Lovely bloggers, Livia, Aimee, Gabrielle, Gabby, Rachael and I getting ready together. Shout out to the beautiful Lauren and Julie who I somehow missed getting a picture with.^^^

^^^These are my runway photos. And, apparently, I'm having a great time. I have to admit, I was on stage for all of 30 seconds and incredibly nervous, so I don't really remember much of it. But, as usual, I'm dancing my way through it all as if no one's watching, just being a total dork. ^^^

^^^Me and the adorable birthday girl, Lizzi, striking a pose pose post-runway. Love her so much.^^^

^^^With gorgeous blogger, Molly making goofy faces.

Also, you guys, my mouth. My mouth is gaping open far too much in these photos. I think I'm either having the night of my life or it's just a nervous habit. I never knew I did this before, so I apologize for the constant large mouth pictures.^^^

^^^I love this picture. Just a little stoic blogger-esque, social media moment.^^^
